Why are we doing a Juneteenth Creative Market? We believe it’s important to honor the history of the community we’re part of. West Rehoboth was once a thriving neighborhood of Black homeowners and Black-owned businesses, and that legacy still shapes the culture of this place today.

The Juneteenth Creative Market is part of our West Rehoboth Legacy Project—an intentional effort to recognize that history while creating real, present-day opportunities for Black artists and makers. Through this event, we aim to celebrate, invest in, and continue building a more inclusive and representative creative community.
