This Is How We'll Crush Our 2025 Goals

Accessibility - The gravel makes it very difficult for strollers, wheelchairs, and our Artists to load in and out of the Market. We will remove the gravel in the Market and replace them with slate pavers.

Sustainability - Our most significant revenue driver is our bar program at West Side Creative Market. We will renovate our bar and prep and storage area for better quality service to our customers to increase our bar's capacity. We will invest in an ice machine as well as better refrigeration.

Functionality - We are renovating a few areas of West Side Creative Market so that there is more functional space for people to enjoy that Market and for there to be more space for Artists. We will also improve our stage and invest in better sound equipment for our musicians and performers.

Connection - DAC Served 440 Active Artists engaging in DAC programming in 2024, we want to increase this to 550 in 2025. Increase staffing to offer weekly consistent Artist groups to engage member artists in connecting with other Artists. This gives many Artists a sense of thriving community.

Resources - Investment in the design and functionality of the DAC Hub with new public-facing Artist profiles to connect them to the public, plus more complimentary educational/ opportunity features for Artist Members. Many of our Artists do not have websites.

Education - DAC had 19 Artists participate in EMERGE in 2024, an increase to 40 Artists in 2025. Expanding workbooks and on-demand videos in the EMERGE program focusing on business and marketing tools in 2025.

Spaces to Thrive - We want to have a DAC event that engages our Artists and the community at least once per week, from March to December 2025. Weekly "Pop-Up art shows" at the Artpothecary to increase showcase space for performance and visual artists not served by Creative Market.

New "Artist Rising" youth creative career programs at the Artpothecary will engage children in fun-learning creative programming promoting entrepreneurship and career direction in the arts.

New Intern initiatives through our programming to get emerging Artists into job growth tracks with DAC.

Investment in more public art in West Rehoboth and partnerships at the Delaware Beaches to bring more projects like the West Rehoboth Legacy Committee to life.

Continued support for our West Rehoboth Legacy Mural maintenance and the community-wide Juneteenth event.
