West Side Creative Market 2025 Renovation $60,000 Goal

We are removing the center bar, replacing the gravel with stone dust, and investing in work spaces. Increasing in marketing and awareness through campaigns and partnerships to expand our reach.

Accessibility: The current gravel makes it difficult for strollers, wheelchairs, and Artists to navigate the Market. Replacing it with stone dust will create a smoother, more accessible environment for all.

Sustainability: By improving the bar and prep areas, we’ll increase service capacity and quality. Investing in new equipment like an ice machine and refrigeration will enhance our bar program, a key revenue driver.

Functionality: Renovations will increase space for Artists and improve the Market experience for visitors. Upgrades to our stage and sound equipment will also elevate performances for musicians and performers.

Artist Rising Subsidy $15,000 Goal

Filling a Critical Gap: Many art programs are oversubscribed, leaving limited opportunities for young artists—especially in underserved communities.

Affordable & Accessible: Sliding-scale pricing and full scholarships ensure financial barriers don’t prevent participation.

Hands-On Learning: Each week, professional DAC artist mentors guide participants through fine art, ceramics, upcycled art, and handmade products.

Real-World Impact: Kids gain marketing, branding, pricing, and sales experience—culminating in a public art show where they showcase and sell their work at the West Side Creative Market.

Virtual Hub Reimagined: We've completely rebuilt the DAC Artist Hub to deliver stronger tools for education, networking, and career development—designed to meet artists where they are.

New Interactive Features & In-Person Connection: From fresh educational videos and downloadable resources to artist support groups and business tools, we're focused on helping them level up.

Empowering Artists: DAC provides the knowledge, community, and resources artists need to build sustainable careers and fuel a vibrant, inclusive creative economy.

Expanded Opportunities: Artists now have access to host solo or group pop-up shows and lead their own paid workshops—diversifying income and expanding visibility.

West Rehoboth Legacy Mural - $5000 Goal

Community Resilience: Your donation will directly support the installation of historical infographics, upgrades gardens (thanks to Wharton’s Landscaping & Garden Center) a dedicated webpage, and the creation of printed booklets. We’ll also be adding bike racks and recycled paver bricks to encourage visitors to engage with the mural. Every gift helps keep this important piece of local history alive.

Continued Legacy & Education: Additional funds will help us enhance the mural experience with historical information, a dedicated webpage, and printed booklets for visitors to learn more about the legacy of West Rehoboth’s African American culture.
