Suzie Goodenough
Pottery is my passion, my joy, and my therapy. I love the whole process, from throwing to carving, glazing, and finally sharing/selling my pieces at shows and on-line. I describe my pottery aesthetic as functional pottery with a “Beachy Boho Vibe.” Beachy because the beach, nature, and all things peaceful, simple, functional, warm, and beautiful, are what inspire my pottery designs. For example, I often decorate my pottery by carving simple abstract or stylized designs of sun, sea, shells, fish, sunflowers, or leaf patterns, into the clay. Boho because my beach colors and designs, are for the most part, unconventional. My designs might be described as earthy, organic, rustic, homey, simple, and at times, maybe even a little funky, but they are always functional!
