Our Artist Development Programming provides Artist Members of DAC with access to resources, development based programming, studio space and a supportive community of like-minded individuals.
Whether it’s simply a space to work and collaborate or taking part in our Creative Career Support Program, our Artists are able to take control of their growth as an Artist.

Our Pledge To Our Artists
No Free Art
One of our core values is not capitalizing off of Artists. We won’t ask them to donate free art, work programming for free, or even pay a membership due. Our entrepreneurial model allows us to cover our costs so we don’t need to rely on Artist's to support us financially.
Artists Come First
Every single decision we make we always ask ourselves, “does the Artist come first?” We’ve learned a lot of lessons about how society wants to take advantage of Artists and we are here to fight the good fight. We are here to advocate for our Artist Members.
We Will Always Be Fair
We always promise to charge Artists fair & honest costs. We strive to keep vendor fees, professional development, resources, space, and opportunity at the fairest possible cost so that you can focus on what matters…your career.
Presentation
We understand the importance of getting Art in front of people. Throughout the year, DAC hosts multiple events in which Artists can display their work for the world to see. From West Side Creative Market, to Dewey Sip & Shop, Artists have plenty of opportunities to promote and sell their work! These events are designed to bring people together to celebrate creativity, community, and connection.
Resources
As an Artist Collaboration, we are able to provide our Members with professional resources that otherwise might be out of reach or just too expensive. Members are able to rent Studio Space, utilize our large format printer, access business document templates and more. Artists can also apply to our Workforce Development Program which allows them to provide us with creative services to offset costs of these resources.
Education
In addition to professional resources, we also provide our Artist Members with career development opportunities. DAC has developed a Creative Career Support Program aimed at Artists of all kinds. CCSP is an intensive that focuses on completely transforming Artists' careers with new branding, career skills, and a comprehensive plan for their growth.
Connection
Collaboration is in our name for a reason. We believe that when people come together, everybody involved benefits. Our Artist Members and Staff lead groups that bring together Artists to support each other, collaborate, and grow. These groups are encouraged to decide their own path and are given the opportunity to organize their own Group Exhibitions at West Side Creative Market.
Space To Grow & Create
The Studios on Terrace is DAC's Communal Creation & Studio Space.
This building is 100% dedicated to our Artist Members. It currently features 20 Studios, A Large Format Printer, and plenty of space for our Workshops & Groups to utilize. As we grow, this space and others grow with us. We are planning many additional resources all designed to give Artists what they need.
Career Transformation Is At Your Finger Tips
CCSP was developed by DAC to provide Artists with the opportunity to completely evolve their creative careers.
This unique program takes place over two months during which Artists will learn critical skills to take their careers to the next level.
Experts in marketing, photography, graphic design, business, web development and more assist Artists with new logos, photos, knowledge and strategic planning.
