My name is Natalya and I am the artist behind Studio Stegura. I could say that I have been an artist my whole life. Growing up I always loved creating things, trying new mediums, and took my inspiration from the colors of the nature that surrounded me. I grew up in the blue ridge mountains, in the Shenandoah Valley. While I may have moved from the mountains to the beach, the colors of the natural world around me have continued to inspire my work. Anyone who knows me well, knows I will make sure I find myself outside every day I can, in a good spot to watch the sunrise – or set. My most recent works have been focused on the colors of the sky at sunrise and sunset, and I have played with the colors I see within watercolor, acrylic, and oil mediums. Painting, in whatever medium I choose, helps to remind me to focus on the beauty that surrounds me and remain positive and focused on all the good there is in the world.
